Privacy Policy

Who we are
FlightOSearch operates as an independent travel agency. We are not an airline, an airline-owned website, or a government agency, and airline branding on this site does not indicate affiliation or endorsement. Privacy questions and deletion requests may be sent to [email protected].
What this policy covers
This policy describes how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you browse our site, search fares, submit booking details, use chat, request support, or communicate with us.
Information we collect
We may collect identity and contact details, passenger information, itinerary choices, payment status, masked payment information, support messages, chat records, form submissions, device data, IP address, browser details, referral source, landing page, campaign parameters, advertising click identifiers such as GCLID or MSCLKID, timestamps, and cookie identifiers.
How information is collected
Information may come directly from you, automatically from your device, or from providers involved in searching, booking, payment processing, fraud review, customer support, or airline servicing.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide search and booking tools, process orders, verify travelers and payers, reduce fraud, send confirmations, handle changes and refunds, operate support workflows, improve site reliability, measure advertising, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, airline, and payment-network duties.
Legal bases where applicable
Where privacy laws such as GDPR apply, processing may be based on contract performance, steps requested before a contract, legal obligations, legitimate business interests, or consent when consent is required.
Who receives information
We may disclose relevant information to airlines, consolidators, booking systems, payment processors, banks, fraud-prevention services, analytics vendors, customer-support tools, hosting providers, professional advisers, and authorities where required or necessary to deliver services.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics or advertising disclosures may be considered sharing or targeted advertising under certain laws, and we provide required choices where applicable.
Cookies and advertising technologies
Cookies and similar tools may support essential functions, fraud prevention, analytics, support features, and advertising measurement. Details are available in our Cookie Policy.
When you visit this site, we keep an anonymous record of the visit: the pages viewed, how long the page was open, whether you searched for flights, tapped a phone number, reached checkout, booked or sent a form, the device type (mobile or desktop), and how you reached the site (for example a search engine, an ad campaign with its keyword and search term, or a direct visit). This helps us measure which pages and campaigns are useful. We do not record your name or phone number with it, and advertising click identifiers are included only if you accepted cookies.
With your consent, Microsoft Clarity may process interaction, device, browser, and approximate location data to provide site analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings. We do not intentionally send passenger, payment, or callback-form details to Clarity. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
When Microsoft Advertising or Universal Event Tracking (UET) is enabled, Microsoft collects or receives personal data from this site to provide advertising, conversion tracking, remarketing, measurement, and reporting services. We activate non-essential advertising and analytics technologies according to the consent choices presented where consent is required. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Phone numbers, calls and callback requests
When you ask for a callback or a fare quote, we collect the phone number you enter, the route, dates and cabin you chose (if any), the page you were on, and how you reached it (for example an ad campaign). When you tap one of our phone numbers, we record that the tap happened and which of our numbers was dialed. We do not capture your own phone number from a tap.
- Who contacts you. Only FlightOSearch travel agents, from our published number, about the trip you asked about. Callbacks are made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Where it is stored. Your request is sent by email to our travel desk and saved in our internal customer-management and team-notification tools so an agent can pick it up. These tools are run by our hosting and software providers on our behalf.
- What we do not do. We do not sell your phone number, we do not give it to airlines or other companies for their marketing, and we do not add it to a marketing list. Asking for a quote does not commit you to buy anything.
- How long we keep it. A callback request is kept as described under Retention below.
- Stopping calls. Tell the agent on the call, or email [email protected] with “Stop calls” in the subject, and we will stop contacting you about that request.
Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for bookings, support, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, compliance, and legal obligations. Transaction and booking records may be retained for up to 7 years or longer when law, card-network rules, litigation, or fraud concerns require it.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or opt-out of certain advertising or sharing uses. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
To request deletion of personal information collected through this website, email [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include the email address, booking reference if any, and details needed to locate your records. We will review and respond as required by applicable law.
California privacy rights
California residents may request details about categories and specific pieces of information collected, sources, purposes, disclosures, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out rights for sale or sharing. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
Requests can be sent to [email protected]. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity and connection to the booking.
Children's information
Our services are intended for adults. We may process minor traveler details when an authorized adult submits them for a legitimate booking, but we do not knowingly market directly to children.
International transfers
Travel services often require international processing. Information may be handled in the United States and other countries where airlines, booking systems, processors, or support providers operate, with safeguards where required.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted transmission, access controls, role-limited systems, logs where appropriate, and PCI-aligned payment providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure risks.
Third-party services
Airlines, payment interfaces, and provider websites may have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting information outside our site.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date.
