Terms and Conditions of Use
Last updated: August 23, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These terms apply when you browse this website, request flight support, submit traveler details, use booking tools, or place an order. By using FlightOSearch, you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and all applicable airline or supplier rules tied to your itinerary.
Who we are
FlightOSearch operates this site as an independent travel agency. We are not an airline, airport, government office, or airline-owned website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized to act for any airline.
When you contact us by phone, email, or chat, you are reaching FlightOSearch staff—not an airline. We can assist with tickets purchased through FlightOSearch and explain applicable fare rules, but we do not represent any airline or make decisions on its behalf. To deal with an airline directly, use that airline’s official website or published contact channels.
Airline names, logos, and trademarks shown on this site belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify carriers and flight options. Their appearance does not imply partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.
Permitted use
You may use the site for genuine travel research, quote requests, booking activity, and support for yourself or travelers you are authorized to assist. You must not submit false requests, automated abuse, fraudulent orders, speculative bookings, or any activity that disrupts our systems or misuses pricing and availability information.
Supplier rules and our role
We help connect customers with airline inventory, fares, add-ons, payment services, and travel technology partners. Every booking remains subject to the operating airline, ticketing airline, consolidator, or supplier conditions, including fare restrictions, baggage rules, schedule policies, and contracts of carriage.
Pricing, quotes, and availability
Search results and displayed prices are not final until the booking is accepted and confirmed. Fares, schedules, seats, baggage allowances, taxes, and route availability may change before ticketing. If a selected option expires or changes, we may cancel the pending order, offer another option, or ask you to approve updated pricing.
Ticketing and confirmation
Some orders require review for fare accuracy, payment verification, fraud screening, or supplier confirmation. A booking becomes complete only after a final confirmation, booking reference, ticket number, or equivalent proof is issued. A pending payment, order acknowledgement, or authorization alone does not guarantee ticket issuance.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for entering correct traveler and payer information, including names matching travel documents, contact details, birth dates, gender where required, and any passport or document information needed for the trip. Review your itinerary promptly and notify us right away if anything appears incorrect.
Documents, entry rules, and check-in
Passengers must confirm passport, visa, transit, health, baggage, check-in, and airport arrival requirements. Rules vary by destination, nationality, airline, and routing, and they may change without advance notice. Always verify requirements with the airline and official government sources before travel.
Payments
Payments are handled through compliant processors or approved travel payment partners. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method and consent to verification and fraud-prevention checks.
Your statement may show FlightOSearch, an airline, or a disclosed payment partner depending on the itinerary and processor. If an authorization is placed but the booking cannot be completed, the release timing is controlled by the bank, card network, or processor.
Authorization hold and when you are charged
When you submit the checkout form, we verify your card in real time and place an authorization hold for the displayed booking total. The total includes the fare, applicable taxes and carrier charges provided by our suppliers, selected extras, and our service fee. A hold is not a completed charge; it reserves available funds or credit and may appear as a pending transaction.
We capture the authorized amount only when your ticket is issued. If we cannot issue the ticket because availability or pricing changed, the supplier rejects the booking, or the review cannot be completed, we release the hold and do not capture it. Your bank controls when a released hold disappears from your account, which may take several business days.
If the card is declined during verification, nothing is captured and no ticket is issued. You may correct the details or use another card.
An authorization is valid for a limited period, normally up to 30 days. If ticketing cannot be completed within that period, the hold may expire and we will obtain any required approval before attempting a new authorization.
Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Post-booking changes, cancellations, exchanges, credits, seat assignments, baggage purchases, and refunds depend on the fare rules and airline policies. Many fares are restricted, non-refundable, or costly to change. Service fees may apply where allowed by law.
See our Refund Policy for more detail. Airline timelines, supplier restrictions, and payment-network rules still apply.
Ancillary products
Seats, bags, meals, priority services, and other extras are controlled by the airline or supplier. These services may be affected by aircraft swaps, operational decisions, fare limits, or availability, and are confirmed only when the supplier accepts them.
Offers and advertising
Promotional wording, savings claims, and advertised fares depend on dates, routing, inventory, and booking conditions. Offers may be limited, unavailable, changed, or withdrawn unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Payment disputes
If you believe a billing issue occurred, contact us first so we can review the record. A chargeback filed after valid services, ticketing, or supplier costs may require us to submit booking history, communications, and review evidence to the bank or payment processor.
Website access
We may modify, pause, or discontinue site features, search tools, support channels, or booking flows at any time. You agree not to scrape, copy, probe, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with our website or related systems.
Intellectual property
Site text, design, branding, graphics, software, and layout are owned by us or licensed to us. You may use the site for ordinary personal travel shopping, but you may not copy, republish, distribute, or exploit our materials without permission.
Disclaimers and liability limits
The website and services are provided as available and without a promise of uninterrupted operation. We are not responsible for airline schedule changes, cancellations, denied boarding, missed connections, baggage events, weather, strikes, government actions, supplier failures, or other matters outside our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid directly to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, or lost-opportunity damages.
Indemnification
You agree to protect and hold harmless FlightOSearch, its affiliates, staff, contractors, and service providers from claims or expenses caused by your misuse of the site, inaccurate information, unauthorized booking activity, violation of these terms, or breach of supplier rules.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Kansas law, except where consumer-protection rules require otherwise. Before bringing a formal claim, contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter. Unresolved disputes will be handled in state or federal courts located in Kansas unless applicable law requires another forum.
Updates
We may revise these terms as operations, laws, or supplier requirements change. The updated version will appear on this page with a new date, and continued use of the site means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
